• Mod Operandi London Launch at Cafe Royale

A staircase lined with French-maids and playful cheetahs on leashes was the entrance to Moda Operandi’s dinner at the Café Royal in London.

As London Fashion Week began we created a dinner party in celebration of Moda Operandi. On entrance guests were guided through the ballroom by hundreds of lit hurricane lamps out to the terrace where our floral bar housed our cocktail master creating botanical cocktails infused with crystals and gemstones, and accented with bespoke Moda operandi scents.

Guests then sat down to a table scape of peonies and roses in bespoke brass tubes, with menus and placement by one of our favourite illustrators Donald Roberston.

  • Charlotte Olympia Shanghai Express Fall 14

The Paris Fashion Week showroom for Charlotte Olympia was a peek into the new collection inspired by the world of the Shanghai Express. An entrance way filled with 350 red lanterns set the scene for a trail of Chinese propaganda posters and a bold stairway of leopard print carpet accented with scarlet walls. We built a bespoke pagoda tea bar to house Charlotte Olympia’s beautiful Oriental inspired Fall 14 collection and teamed up with Mariage Freres to serve guests flowering jasmine green tea.

As one of our fortune cookies said, “Keep your heels and your standards high”…

  • The Chedi Andermatt

We were lucky enough to spend January surrounded by snow and Alpine air in the most beautifully designed hotel, The Chedi, Andermatt. The occasion was a double birthday celebration with guests invited for a weekend of parties on the slopes. Gold leafed snow bunnies illustrated onto paper tablecloths (of course accessorised with water coloring pencils) and mini Pine Trees created a distinctly Swiss setting for the first night of Baked Mont D’Or, Alpine Spotted Trout and dancing to the enigmatically Parisian Les Trois Mallets. A long lunch was the order of play for Saturday where we designed an Alpine Apres retreat with bespoke gingham tablecloths, cow bells and sheepskin throws. No sooner had the gluehwein finished before it was onto the main event, where the restaurant at The Chedi was transformed into a dazzling party. A brushed gold dancefloor, ‘toblerone’ pyramid DJ hide and parabolic reflectors created the gold midas backdrop for DJ Dan Lywood to liven things up, with guests dipping outside to our ice pyramid bar to cool off with a vodka by the fire pits.

  • Sybarite Jewellery Dinner

We designed and produced a dinner for Sybarite Jewellery hosted by Natalia Vodianova at Zaha Hadid’s Sackler Gallery.Taking inspiration from Sybarite’s jewellery line we created a table of moving ballerinas and carousels who were set on an illuminated silver runner. Guests were greeted by a life sized snow globe containing a whimsical performance to music. Inside, the air of romanticism continued  with snow globe placements and a dreamy mirror moon photo set. Following dinner guests pulled bespoke crackers and one lucky lady found the key to a pair of Sybarite earrings, for those who weren’t so lucky on leaving the party they received a goodie box filled with bespoke glass engraved Sybarite baubles and chocolates created in the shape of the Sybarite print. A fun way to start the Christmas festivities….

  • Louis Vuitton : Charlotte Perriand Dinner – Miami Art Basel

Inspired by Charlotte Perriand’s aesthetic, we designed colour blocked table runners filled with flowers which ran down bespoke wooden chevron tables. Noguchi lanterns floated in the sky to create a magical setting for guests to enjoy dinner under Miami palms and in front of the Louis Vuitton Charlotte Perriand installation.
